Welcoming Taania Girgla to MGB SPEAR MED Space Medicine Fellowship

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Taania Girgla as the newest fellow in the MGB SPEAR Medicine Division, joining us for her first year of Space Medicine fellowship after completing her Anesthesiology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Girgla has launched her fellowship by participating in a panel titled "Is NASA Science in Jeopardy?" at the 2026 Humans to the Moon and Mars Summit, and also completed a parabolic flight with the National Research Council of Canada, testing the feasibility of breast milk pumps in microgravity. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Girgla to the team as she opens this new and exciting chapter in Space Medicine.
