Taania Girgla Selected as 2026 Space Medicine Fellow

We are pleased to congratulate Taania Girgla, MD, on her selection as the incoming Space Medicine Fellow, with a start date of July 2026. Dr. Girgla is currently completing her residency training in anesthesiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where she has developed a strong foundation in perioperative and critical care medicine.

We look forward to welcoming Dr. Girgla to MGB SPEAR MED and supporting her continued journey and training in space and austere medicine. We are excited to work with her as she prepares for a leadership role in developing the future of human spaceflight.
