SPEAR MED Fellow Completes Rotation at Vast

Current fellow Brian Strickland recently completed a four-month rotation with Vast in Long Beach, California. During this rotation, he worked closely with Vast’s Lead Flight Surgeon, Dana Levin, gaining hands-on exposure to the medical and operational challenges inherent in commercial human spaceflight.

At Vast, Brian joined multidisciplinary teams of engineers and medical experts who are taking an innovative human systems engineering approach to crew health and performance while developing the world’s first commercial space station. This immersive experience reflects MGB SPEAR MED’s commitment to preparing physician-leaders to operate at the intersection of medicine, engineering, and design, and to contribute meaningfully to the future of human space exploration.
